Liability Waiver / Terms + Conditions / Studio Policies

Please read and accept the release below before continuing.

I hereby apply for enrollment or I am the parent/guardian of a minor applying for participation in a class, workshop or camp at Twig and Berry Art Studio as above identified (“Activity”). In consideration of being granted enrollment in the Activity for the stated fee, which is enclosed, I agree as follows: I understand that Twig and Berry Art Studio 1) engages instructors as independent contractors, 2) requires all instructors to have current background clearances as required by the state of Pennsylvania. I understand all risks that may be associated with my participation, or the participation of the registered minor, in the activities of the Activity, and hereby agree to assume all such risks and take full and exclusive responsibility for them and hereby waive and release the Twig and Berry Art Studio, its successors and assigns, together with their respective directors, officers, agents, representatives, sponsors, instructors, employees and volunteers, from any and all claims for any and all personal injury, property damage or destruction, death, breach of contract, or otherwise, except for such conduct which would be considered intentional or gross negligence, all of which arose from my participation, or the participation of the registered minor, in the Activity.

I hereby represent that I and/or the minor(s) for whom I am parent/guardian of, who are enrolling in this course are in good health, and that I have identified all medical conditions associated with the minor, and that I have adequately informed Twig and Berry Art Studio personnel of any special instructions regarding the minor. I agree to bear any and all costs to cover any injury or damage the minor may suffer while participating in the Activity. I give the staff at Twig and Berry Art Studio permission to authorize emergency medical attention should it be required. I hereby fully and forever release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Twig and Berry Art Studio, its members, agents, and employees from any and all claims, demands, damages or causes of action of any kind, known or unknown, anticipated or unanticipated and arising out of attendance in an arts, event, or education program of any kind offered by Twig and Berry Art Studio.

I fully understand and acknowledge that the Activity involves physical activities and/or contact which create an inherent risk and danger of minor or serious injury or of death. I represent and warrant that I am physically fit and I have no medical condition that would prevent my full participation in the Course or that the registered minor is physically and medically able to participate in the Course. The waiver and release shall be binding upon me, being of legal age and competency, and, upon the registered minor, and our heirs, beneficiaries, estate, fiduciaries and assigns. I hereby consent to have a photograph/video taken that includes me, and/or the registered minor, while in attendance at the Twig and Berry Art Studio Activity location while enrolled and in attendance during the time of its instruction/activity and agree that the images may be used in future promotional and/or historical purposes of the Twig and Berry Art Studio.

Studio Policies

At Twig and Berry Art Studio, our #1 goal is to provide a safe, welcoming and creative environment for our students of all ages.

We kindly ask that parents and guardians do not linger in the studio during class (unless enrolled, of course!) This gives all participating students the opportunity to freely focus on the joy of creating without distraction. There is time for browsing between classes.

COVID-19 Procedure

The safety of our students and of the community at large is our number one priority. Masks are optional at this time. We are following the CDC guidelines.

What should I wear to the art studio?

To allow for the best creative expression in the art studio, we ask that our students please wear clothing appropriate to dress for messy success! We do have aprons available. Please remember to wear (or bring) clothes that could get permanently stained with paint.

My child has an allergy. Can you accommodate for this?

It is very important that you make us aware of any allergy that a student may have. Please include this information on your emergency form when you arrive for the first class.

Snow Day Protocol

We follow the Pine-Richland School District’s snow schedule for cancellations and delays.

What is your cancellation policy?

Class and workshop fees are non-refundable. However, fees may be transferred in full to a future class or workshop if a written request (e-mail) is received at least 14 days prior to the start of the class, multi-class session or workshop from which you are withdrawing. No credits are given for cancellations made within less than 14 days prior to start of class or workshop except for medical/family emergency. Not showing up for a class or workshop forfeits any refund or credit.

We cannot offer make-ups for single classes or missed days of a multi-day class.

If Twig and Berry Art Studio must cancel a class or workshop, your class will be rescheduled or fee fully refunded.

No exceptions are made for the Cancellation Policy. This allows us to make appropriate preparations and offer an available spot to other students when a class is full/sold out.

No refunds/credits will be issued after the first class/day of class. We understand that emergencies happen. Please reach out if there is something you would like to discuss.

Camp Refund Policy

Cancellations requested at least 3 weeks (21 days) before camp begins receive a full refund less $75 processing fee. No refunds are issued for cancellations less than 21 days before the first day of the scheduled camp. No refunds or pro-rating for missed classes. Enrollment fees cannot be carried into subsequent terms. If the minimum registration for a camp is not met, Twig and Berry Art Studio reserves the right to cancel that program, and either move participants to another camp or refund all payments.

Can I pay by check/cash/venmo?

You may absolutely pay by check/cash/venmo! Please note, however, that our classes fill up quickly, and your spot will not be reserved until we have received your payment, completed registration form, and emergency form. When you reserve your spot(s) and pay on our website, you will receive an immediate confirmation of your place in the class. When paying by check/cash/venmo, it is possible that the class you want to take will fill up before we receive your payment. Thanks for understanding!

Do you offer private art lessons?

Yes! We would be happy to discuss private lessons with you. Please contact us.
